本文论述了在当今媒体高度分化条件下,媒体的投入效率与广告浪费现象。文中指出,当今媒体的高度分化的实质是大众的高度分化,即传统的大众已经随着其需求、价值和生活方式的多元化变迁而细化为异质性较强的小众。然而,大多数商品的消费对象却是大众,它要求媒体的理想状态是对大众的尽可能的高覆盖率和高到达率。由此产生了媒体的小众化与媒体的大众化的功能要求之间的冲突与矛盾,媒体的广告效率随媒体的异质化趋势的增强而降低。更为严重的是,目前国内的一些广告大客户的不合理的、非理性的媒体策略和投入方式更是人为的增加了广告的巨大浪费,使广告的效率雪上加霜。文章最后指出,科学的实证方法的贯穿运用是提高广告效率、降低广告浪费有效而唯一的途径。

The author lists some cataloging puzzles caused by nonstandard publishing behavior and puts forward corresponding ways to solve the problems.

本文列举了几种不规范的出版行为给编目工作带来的困惑 ,并且提出了相应的对策。
