Strictly controlled by NNE-trending fractures, the ore bodies are mostly blind ones hich occur as veinlike, stratoid and lenticular bodies in nearly en echelon arrangement. The paper deals with the characteristics of stibnite, such as occurrence, form, physical prop-erties, chemical composition and sulfur isotopic constitution. The stibnite was developed in medium-low temperature hydrothermal environments. The relationship between the unite cell parameter a0 of stibnite and the temperature shows a negative correlation. It is Se, Te-rich stibnite. Se and Te are utilizable. The Sb ore belt is Se, Te mineralizing prospect area proba-bly in Southern Anhui Province.
