Experimental results show that the pulsing fluidized bed has following advantages which the ordinary fluidized bed does not possess: (1) minimum fluidizing velocity is lower than that of ordinary F.B. (2) pressure-drop at fluidization stage is lower than that of conventional F.B. (3) the quantity of particle etutriated is less than that of conventional F.B. (4) heat transfer coefficient between the bed materials and single particle is about 10%higher than that of the conventional F.B. We think that perhaps pulsing fluidized bed combustion is an effective way to increase the combustion efficiency and prevent the pollution of fly ash.

The ability against disturbances of superconducting magnets with enthalpy stabilization is determined by the transient heat transfer behaviors of the composites. This article discusses a method to measure transient behaviors of bored and varnish-coated NbTi/Cu composites in large or definite volumes of liquid helium respectively. Some expierimental results and analyses are presented.
