A method of using filament winding composites was established to reduce the amplitude of torsional vibration in the case of special stimulating vibration. A design formula of anisotropic filament wound cylinder to reduce the torsional vibration of axle components was obtained. The results indicated that by putting the filament wound cylinder on an axis, the torsional vibration of the axis can be reduced effectively.

The strengthened ways of specimens for the bundle mechanical property test standardized in GB3326 in China are modified to get a satisfied break mode. The modified specimens of M46J impregnated with QY8911 resin and M46J impregnated with epoxy 648 resin are made. The bundle mechanical properties of M46J impregnated with QY8911 are obtained compared with those of M46J/epoxy 648 prepregged strands. Finally, discussions on effects of different resins, cure condition, pre-tension applied are carried out.
