The author gives the data of formation test in Zhongyuan Oilfield from 1988 to 1994. Thestatistical data are analyzed and studied systemically. The pressure curves formation testing are divided into 5types of curves, according to the curve shapes. The criteria for optimizing fracturing techniques and operation parameters are brought up by studying rock mechanical parameters, and fracturing technology and materials used for difficult reservoirs are given. Ten experimental wells were fractured and 1.78×104t crude oil were recoverd. Its results are obvious and the difficult reservoirs are effectively developed.
