Three calculation methods of the benefits of water and soil conservation are introduced in this paper. Comparisons of the three methods and application of measured data indicate that the model method is a reasonable and feasible calculation method. The model can be used to simulate the long series flow and sediment processes in large and medium river basins,and has a good transplantability.
