The position of the probability density function of drifting direction after ship's anchor dragging is important for the safety assessment of ship anchoring. The dragging ship movement equation is presented by use of MMG model. The ship drifting after anchor dragging is simulated by computer according to Monte Carlo Method. The probability density functions are gained by analyzing the statistical simulated data.
