The variation of gas holdup with gas velocity, column diameter, solid concentration, static bed height and gas distributor was studied in slurry bubble columns with three different diameters. The variation of average gas holdud with gas superficial velocity can be divided into three regions——steady-state region, transition region and turbulence region.The gas holdup for each region can be determined with following equations.the steady-state region U_≤3.0cm/sε_= 5.075×10~(-3)F,~(0.927)G_a~(0.602)(d/D)~(1.463)...

用三种不同直径的浆态鼓泡塔研究气速、塔径、固相浓度、静止床层高度和气体分布器等对气含率的影响。平均气含率随气速变化分为稳定区、过渡区和湍流区,得到各区平均气含率的计算式,其平均误差小于5%。用气隙率仪测定了局部气含率和气泡频率的分布并研究了气泡直径、气泡上升速度和气、液相界面积等,并给出了计算式。

Due to some of its unique features such as easy control of reaction temperature, the three-phase slurry bubble reactor has found wide applicatiins both in laboratories and in industrial processes. Some systematic investigation on a model of such reactor has been carried out in our laboratory with purpose of its commercial application. Empirical equations involving variables such as gas hold-up and cata- lyst load have been obtained and may be used in design of reactors in chemical process industries.

由于气—液—固三相浆态反应器有温度易控制等独特的优点,近年来在化学反应工程上得到广泛的研究和实际应用,我们结合浆态反应工艺的开发,对气—液—固三相浆态反应器进行了比较系统的冷模考察,关联了气含率与各种影响因素的经验方程,确定了有关参数,这对实际反应器的设计提供了有价值的依据。
