皮辊轴承是精纺机、粗纺机重要易损零件之一,使用面广、量大,每年消耗以百万计。其使用条件属于无沟道点接触滚动摩擦,带有滑动摩擦的性质,与其他纺机专用滚动轴承相比有更为苛刻的耐磨损要求。因此皮辊轴承的研制对于用粉末冶金制造纺机专用轴承具有一定的代表性。本文论述了粉末冶金制件的冷热加工的工艺性;通过金相组织和电镜扫描分析,探讨了其耐磨机理。通过五年零十个月的纺纱实践,在同样条件下与轴承钢制件作对比,其磨损量大幅度下降,使用寿命延长2倍以上。而且,无论在工时、材料利用率、降低成本等方面均较轴承钢制件优越。
