The applications have driven GIS, which is constrained by technical copabilities of current technology in computer and related fields. The applications are driving the operational progress of GIS. This paper reviews the topics which might be studied on components and special funtions of operational GIS. Then it looks to the fundamental issues for longterm survival and acceptance in society.The paper discusses the impacts of the different components of a GIS. The rapid development of hardware/software and increase of user requirement are driving GIS technology to operationalization with following features:(1) independent on platform; (2) interoperability in the network; (3)integration of different data sources; (4 )easy-going in terface; ( 5 ) powerful applied models; and (5) sucessor of data/users.The paper also discusses the impacts of special functions of a GIS. There are many problems that might be solved for leading to operational GIS. They are (1) the methodologies of data updating and fusion; (2) spatial description and simulation; (3) spatial query language.The fundamental issues cover the geo-informaties, incorporation of geo-statistics, standard data modelling, error progration analysis, and temporary dimension.

本文从地理信息系统要素和功能角度分析其发展趋势,认为应用的进一步深入和计算机及相关领域的发展将推动地理信息系统的运行化进程。运行化要求系统的数据采集、更新、集成、管理、分析、检索、用户界面等方面的功能更加有效和强大,满足运行化的要求需要解决五个方面的理论和技术问题,包括地球信息机理的理论突破、空间统计分析的完善和与地理信息系统的结合、好的数据模型、精确的空间数据以及时间维的表达等。

The component characteristics and statistical structure of the 4th(230~270 ℃) and 5th (270~340 ℃) distiled fractions of a kind of low temperature tar were studied using GC MS. The studies on component characteristics showed that (1) the compounds in the distilled fractions can be classified into paraffinic compounds and non paraffinic compounds. The average molecular weight of the paraffinic compounds for 4th distilled fraction in which there is a few olefinic compounds, and 5th distilled fraction is 280.2 and 296.7 respectively. (2) the non paraffinic compounds in the 4th distilled fraction was mainly dominated by phenols 22.44 % and substituted naphthalene 62.73 %. The non paraffinic compounds in the 5th distilled fraction was mainly composed of phenols 8.69 %, aromatic radical alcohol 42.53 % and polyalkyl and alkosy substituted aromatic 28.67 %. The details of the components in the specific tar have made a base for the utilization of the tar. In the studies on the statistical structure two statistical average molecular models were constructed. They are dimethyl phenylindene and dimethyl naphthalenol for non PC of 4th and 5th distilled fractions.

Based on the study on components of tailings and tailings waste water from Tonglushan mine, it was found that main pollutants were Cu, Fe, suspended substances and organic substances remained from ore dressing reagents. The results from the processing of tailings waste water show that pollutants in tailing waste water can be removed effectively by using lime, H 2SO 4, FeCl 3 and Al 2(SO 4) 3. Based on the study on components of tailings and tailings waste water from Tonglushan mine, it was found that main pollutants were Cu, Fe, suspended substances and organic substances remained from ore dressing reagents. The results from the processing of tailings waste water show that pollutants in tailing waste water can be removed effectively by using lime, H 2SO 4, FeCl 3 and Al 2(SO 4) 3. But in a comprehensive view, lime is the best one with high efficiency and economy. The strategy for pollution control and the comprehensive utilization of tailings and tailings waste water in Tonglushan mine were suggested. It is estimated that about 0.1 million tons of Cu and 3 million tons of Fe can be retrieved. And Co, Mn, Zn, Ag, Au, Re and W are also valuable for comprehensive utilization.

通过对铜绿山某矿尾矿及废水的物质组分的分析研究 ,查明主要污染物是Cu、Fe、悬浮物和选矿残留的有机试剂 ;尾矿废水处理的初步研究表明 ,石灰、H2 SO4 、FeCl3、Al2 (SO4 ) 3 均可有效去除尾矿废水中的污染物质 ,从综合因素考虑 ,采用石灰处理效果最好 ,处理过的尾矿废水可以重复利用 ;在上述研究基础上 ,提出了尾矿及尾矿废水的污染防治对策和综合利用方案 ,通过综合利用可以从尾矿中回收近 1× 1 0 5t金属铜和大约 3× 1 0 6t金属铁 ,Co、Mn、Zn、Ag、Au、Re、W等金属也有一定综合利用价值。
