Consequently, the formula serves to pave the way to further lowering of the firing temperature(Tf) of enamel with ensured acid resistance.The author finds that with increasing Al2O3 content, the change of corrosion loss is discontinuous. Different sets of Wl-calculation coefficients have to be derived for Al2O3-f ree, low-, medium-, and high-Al2O3 enamels separately. The paper reveals the duality of various components except K2O and Na2O, i. e., a single component exerts both positive and negative effects upon Wl. The dual effects aresummed up as Wl-coeffieient, denoted by ; and the product cm, where n is the molar content of the component, is reckoned as a portion of Wl contributed, by the said component. The relation between n and Wl is linear.

The gas transport property of polyarylate was measured,and relationship between the gas transport property and molar content of bromine on main chain was studied.It is found that the solubility in membrane rises with increasing content of bromine,but diffusivity decreases. The gas permeation coefficient has a peak value when molar content of tetrabromo phenolphthalein is 40-60 percent, selectivity does not change too much.It indicates that a moderate amount of aryl bromine on backbone of polyarylate is a contributing factor for increase of gas permeability,which not decrease of selectivity much.
