The paper also deals with the effect of the magnitude of engine power margin (PM) on energy saving and operation economy.

在低速机——固定桨系统中,按设计桨功率储备大小及不同转速要求,可以在主机减额输出区选择不同的主机减额输出点,来满足某一航速的要求。国外柴油机厂商,建议主机减额输出点选在低速区及低功率区以达节能目的。但作者认为该建议仅在某种条件下适用,因此文章指出用与机型、船型有关的节能衡准数(ES)来判定减额输出点是否选在等航速线上的低转速区有利;提出以推进系统的初投资差额回收年限(PBP)来决定减额输出点是否选在低功率区有益。本文还论述了主机功率储备(PM)大小对节能及经济性的影响。

In combination with the shiplock operation data of North Jiangsu Canal and relevant data of foreign countries, the standards of shiplock design service and lock running service level are set forth. It provides a reference for further determining the construction scale of shiplock. 

针对繁忙河流上的船闸经常堵船的特点,在船闸通过能力分析中,引入船闸服务水平的概念,并结合苏北运河上的船闸营运资料及国内外有关资料,初步提出了船闸设计服务水平及运行服务水平的划分标准。根据船闸的服务水平,可为进一步确定船闸的建设规模提供参考。
