The equilibrium products of Fe-Cu-Ce, Fe-P-Ce or Fe-Ti-Ce solution have beenidentified to be Ce_2O_2S, but not the intermetallic compounds of Ce against Cu, P or Ti.
By means of concentration and crystallization, an overall yield of more than 38 percent of pure trans isomer (93%) can be obtained from equilibrium products.
