With the comparison between the results of space -FEM and plane-FEM,this paper indicates the advantage of box transition storey and the necessity of space analysis and design under some given conditions. By using TAT, the program for structural three dimensional analysis, a frame shear structure of 33 storeys as an engineering example is analysed and its reinforcement ratio is calculated. At two localities within the structure, abrupt change in lateral displacement resistant stiffness has undergone along the upward direction. As concluded by analysis, in designing tall building structure, lateral displacement resistant stiffness may be changed abruptly which needs no special strengthening so long as the location of transition storey is properly chosen, Abrupt change in lateral displacement resistant stiffness will lead to the increase of reinforcement ratio. This phenomenon is prominent only at transition storey; it decreases greatly at the locality far from transition storey and even gives rise to the improvement of antiseismic performance of the structure on the contrary.

用结构三维分析程序TAT,对某工程实例的33 层框-剪结构进行分析并计算其配筋量.该结构的抗侧移刚度沿高度方向在两处发生突变.经分析得出结论:在进行高层建筑结构的设计时,结构的抗侧移刚度可以出现突变,而且只要转换层的位置选择得当,转换层不必进行特殊加固;结构抗侧移刚度的突变导致了配筋量的增大,这一现象只有在转换层内才显得比较突出,而在远离转换层处,其影响大幅减小,甚至反而对结构的抗震性能有所改善.
