Adsorption of Prochloraz and its major metabolites,BTS44595,BTS44596 and BTS45186,in six types of paddy soil were studied with the batch equilibrium method.
Through batch equilibrium experiment method in lab,the adsorption character of aniline as one of the alkali ionizable organic pollutants on suspended particles in acidic, natural and basic simulated waters was compared, and the effect of humic acid content in the particles of water on aniline adsorption behavior was observed.
Compared with the batch equilibrium method with multiple adsorption/desorption cycles, this method has the advantages of simplicity, rapidity and accuracy.
Based on the determination methods for adsorption amount on soil by usingSCLC with frontal curve and by batch equilibrium method with multipleadsorption/desorption cycles, adsorption/desorption isotherms were determinedby a new method of soil column liquid chromatography with stepwiseadsorption/desorption.
Batch equilibrium isotherm runs were performed to measure the removal capacities of 6 natural and HDTMA modified clay samples for p,p’-DDE (a metabolite of pesticide DDT) and its release under desorption conditions.
The kinetic behaviors and sorption characters of a weak acid brilliant blue dye (RAWL) sorption by HTs/HTCs were investigated using batch equilibrium and kinetic methods.
Two series of adsorption experiments with a primary solute (atrazine or bentazone) in the absence and presence of secondary solute (bentazone or atrazine) at different concentrations(<30 mg·L~ -1 ) were carried out in the laboratory using the batch equilibrium techniques.
A series of pH measurements, a turbidity experiment, an XRD analysis, batch equilibrium testing and soil adsorption evaluation were performed to achieve the aforementioned objective.
The Al solubility in Inceptisol A and Spodosol Bh horizons was consistently higher than that obtained in the batch equilibrium experiment, indicating that the sampled solution partly originated from the underlying horizons.
This paper presents aluminium (Al)-solubility data for two acid forest soils (Inceptisol and Spodosol), obtained in connection with lysimeter measurements (tension-cup and zero-tension lysimeters) and batch equilibrium experiments.
The distribution coefficients, Kd, between Zn(Ⅱ) or Cd(Ⅱ) in solutions of different concentrations of hydrochloric acid and acetone and anion exchange resin were determined and the relation between Kd and the composition of the eluent was studied. It was found that when Kd is under 10, the desorption is good, and when Kd is greater than 90, the adsorbed ions cannot be eluted. When 0.01N HCI-30% acetone was used as the eluent, Zn(Ⅱ) cOuld be satisfactorily separated from equivalent or less than equivalent qu...
A study of the adsorption of prometon on a sandy loam soil was performed using batch equilibrium method. The isotherm data were fitted to the Freundlich equation with the least square method. The equation thus obtained is:Cs=2.940CW0.3094where Cs and Cw are the equilibrium concentrations in sorbed phase and solution phase, respectively. The correlation coefficient tetween log Cs and log Cw was determined to be 0.9979, which is much greater than the statistically acceptable Value with a con...
A study on the adsorption of aldicarb, lindane and trifluralin on three different soils with different contents of organic matter was performed. Adsorption isotherms were obtained using batch equilibrium method and column method, and adsorption coefficients were calculated. A comparison between the two methods was given.
