This thesis is related about the recent development of lithium cobalt oxide used as the cathode of lithium ion battery.There are the following main measures utilized to improve its reversible capacity and cycle properties.(1)Changing its structure.The incorporating of heterogeneous atoms such as P and V or noncrystal materials results in structure changes of lithium cobalt oxide,therefore its reversibility during discharge and charge is improved.(2)Comixing with lithium manganese oxide.This method produces little volume change during discharge and charge process,and makes active material fully contact with conductive material.(3)increasing its internal conductivity.Introduction of Ca 2+ and H + leads lithium cobalt oxide’s conductivity to be increased and its activity improves.(4)Enlarging its content of lithium.The increase of lithium content produces high lithium cobalt oxide and makes the content of lithium availabe increased and reversible capacity enlarged.

近年来对提高锂离子电池正极材料氧化钴锂的电化学性能方面的报道集中在专利方面,本文对此进行了概述。提高氧化钴锂的容量和改善其循环性能的方法主要有以下几种。(1)改变其结构。引入杂原子磷、钒或别的非晶物,使氧化钴锂的结构发生变化,从而导致充放电过程中结构变化的可逆性提高。(2)与氧化锂锰的共混,这样使充放电过程中电极材料的体积变化相互抵消,有利于活性物质与导电剂的接触。(3)提高其内在的导电性能。通过在氧化钴锂中引入Ca2+或H+,使其导电性能提高,进而使其活性得到充分利用。(4)增加锂的含量。在氧化钴锂中增加锂的含量,得到高含锂化合物,使可利用锂的量增加,从而使氧化钴锂的可逆容量增加。
