The present paper gives an introduction to the ion-nitriding process of titanium TA2 in the LD-50-ZT type ion-nitriding furnace. It discusses the factors controlling the formation and quality of the case structure, with emphasis on the various atmospheres (N2/Ar、 NH3-N2、 NH3-Ar、 NH3), the temperature range (750-1000℃) and the treating period employed. According to an analysis of the experimental results of the nitried case obtained at this stage by means of X-ray diffraction, metallographic method, case depth, hardness, brittleness and corrosion resistance testing, the reasonable process data which give rise to a harder wear- and corrosion-resistant case have been found.This paper also describes the effect of oxygen and hydrogen,the elimination of distortion and the method for keeping surface finish. In addition, some results of parts of titanium valves ion-nitried in an atmosphere of ammonia gas have also been dealt with in this article.

本文叙述了在LD—50—ZT型离子氮化炉中,对工业纯钛TA_z试样进行离子氮化试验的方法.分别选用不同气源(N_2/Ar、NH_3—N_2、NH_3—Arl、纯NH_3)、温度(750~1000℃)、时间对TA:进行几十炉次试验,相应地进行表层X射线衍射分析,金相组织分析,渗层厚度、表面硬度和硬度梯度检测,并据以初步找到了工业纯钛离子氮化的合理工艺参数;还叙述了TA_2离子氮化后的脆性和耐腐蚀性试验情况、全部研试中出现过的问题,并作了分析;也简介了钛阀零件以纯NH_3为气源的离子氮化及其结果.

Nitriding hardening is nowadays one of the important processes in surface hardening for various steel grades. Nitriding hardening is nowadays one of the important processes in surface hardening for various steel grades. The behavior of rolling-wear resistance of some alloy structural steels with relation to nitrided case structure has been experimentally investigated and the result is reported in this article.Summary. Three kinds of steel as 38CrMoAlA, 35CrMo and 40Cr after different nitriding processes, ie. pure NH3 ionic, NH3 + Ti ionic and gaseous nitridings at the identical temperature of 520℃×8hr, have been observed and tested for their nitrided case structures, hardnesses and the unlubricated rolling-wear resistance by means of X-ray diffraction, metallographical test and sound emission etc. Comparing hardnesses and hardening penetrations measured, the highst microhardness and steepness of hardness profile with respect to depth belong to those steels treated by NH3 + Ti ionic nitriding. This is regarded mainly as due to the effect of dispersion hardening of alloying nitrides and the increase in dislocation density. The next two in order of hardness and steepness of hardness profile are pure NH3 nitriding and gaseous nitriding respectively.Unlubricated rol-ling-wear test was performed at a rotating speed of 400rpm under a load; of 150kg. Results as shown in figures 4,5 and 6 point out that in wear resist-ance the best is pure NH3 ionic nitriding and the gaseous nitriding is bad. Directly related to the brittleness of nitrided case, the compound layer in steel surface treated by NH3 + Ti ionic nitriding is considered unfavourable to rolling-wear resistance especially for 38CrMoAlA. 本文利用X光衍射仪、金相显微镜和声发射等手段对38CrMoAlA,35CrMo,40Cr钢经纯氨离子氮化,纯氨加钛离子氮化以及气体氨化后的渗层组织,硬度及干式滚动磨损性能进行了观察和分析。结果表明:加钛离子氮化可以显著提高工件渗层的硬度;但由于脆性增加而不利于干式滚动磨损;离子氮化处理后抗干式滚动磨损性能最佳。

Carbonitriding is one of the effective process to improve performances of fuel nozzle made of steel GCr15.Several processes are investigated in order to obtain more rational processing parameters, case structure, surface hardness and hardness distribution over depth analyzed, and hardness variations with different tempering temperatures and effect of sub-zero treatment on wear resistance dealt with.

碳氮共渗是提高GCr15钢制喷油嘴性能的一种有效方法。为寻求较合理的工艺参数,本文介绍了几种共渗工艺试验,并分析了渗层组织、表面硬度及渗层硬度分布,不同回火温度下的硬度变化及冷处理对硬度和耐磨性的影响。
