The experiments for forcasting SST tendency were made by these mothods in the East China Sea and its adjacent waters (Area I, II), and various prominent periods of SST field were selected for the forecast arae. This paper also gives the analysis result for forecast in 1982 and the similar results obtained by the variance...

The analysis methods, called variance, periodgram and synthetic time series, used for long-range forecast of sea surface temperature field are primarily introduced in this paper. The experiments for forcasting SST tendency were made by these mothods in the East China Sea and its adjacent waters (Area I, II), and various prominent periods of SST field were selected for the forecast arae. This paper also gives the analysis result for forecast in 1982 and the similar results obtained by the variance analysis and the period analysis mehtods. It is can be found from the analyses that there are a longer period of 6-7 years and a shorter period of 2-3 years - in the forecast areas. This work will provide a reliable basis for knowing well the regulation of variation of SST field in the forecast areas and for Long-range preicting of SST field.

本文主要介绍了用于表层水温场趋势预报的几种方法:方差分析法、周期分析法和综合时间序列分析法,并用这些预报方法对东海及外缘海域、[Ⅰ,Ⅱ区]进行了水温场趋势预报试验,选出了预报海区表层海水温度场的各种显著周期。本文还给出了1982年的预报结果分析及方差分析法和周期分析法的拟合结果。分析得出预报海区海水温度场存在6~7年的长周期振动和2~3年的短周期振动,为表层海水温度场趋势预报提供了重要依据。

The monthly mean sea surface temperature(SST) field of the East China Sea and the adjacent waters has good continuity, the positive temperature anomaly field is able to last for 18 months and negative anomaly field for 14 months. The results of energy spectrum analysis show that the dominant period of 6.7 years exists in the forecasted area because of being in control of the Kuroshio warm current system.

东海及外缘海域月平均表层海水温度场变化的持续性较好,正温度距平场最长可持续18个月,负温度距平场可持续14个月。能谱分析结果表明,由于该区受黑潮暖流系统的控制,存在明显的6、7年周期。 文中给出了几种以数理统计为基础的表层水温场预报方法,即单要素和多因子的经验正交场分解时间序列预报方法,对东海及外缘海域月平均表层海水温度场进行了连续6年(1978-1983)的实时预报,其效果比较稳定,预报误差较小,从1978~1983年的平均预报误差为0.53℃。

In this paper,the coupled relations of long-term changes between the zonal vertical circulation cells at lower latitudes in the western Pacific Ocean and SST fields of the eastern and western equatorial Pacific Ocean, are analyzed with the statistical correlations.The results indicate that long-term changes of the zonal vertical circulation cells,i.e.,the walker cell and the anti-walker cell,are not completely controlled by the west-east SST gradient.There are close relations between the antecedent changes of SST field in the Souht China Sea and the zonal vertical circulation cells in the western equatorial Pacific and the anomalous changes of the SST in the eastern equatorial Pacific and the onset of EL Nino.

本文通过统计相关分析,讨论了西太平洋低纬地区纬向垂直环境圈的长期变化与赤道太平洋东、西部海温场之间的耦合关系。 分析结果表明,西太平洋低纬地区纬向环流圈即沃克环流圈和沃克反环流圈的长期变化并不完全受赤道太平洋东西向海温梯度的控制.赤道太平洋东部海温的异常变化以及厄·尼诺现象的出现,与前期西太平洋西部-南海海温变化以及西太平洋纬向垂直环流圈的活动有密切的关系。 赤道太平洋西部的纬向环流圈的异常变化比东太平洋海温的异常变化要早2-3个月,即约一个季度。
