Hot source may be ground temperature field that is formed by radioactive heat. Hot source of the “shallow circulative hot water” is connected with heating action of the “deep circulative hot water”.

The assimilation efficiencies of dry matter, energy and nitrogen from the diet by the larvae during the first three days of the last instar were 38.5%, 43.9% and 48.5%, respectively This insect species has been reared on the artificial diet continuously for 12 generations and the survival rates for larval stage ranged from 57% to 92% with an average of 76%.
