In China, research work in this field has as well begun and results are being applied to actual ships.This present paper deals with the experimental study on aerody-namic performsnce of circular-arc sails. Based on test results, influence of sail form and geometrical parameters on aerodynamic performance is discussed. Available data and diagrams given in this paper will facilitate calculation of thrust lateral force, turning moment and help programing for automatic control of sails so as to optimally utilize wind energy.

为了节能的需要,在现代船舶上采用风帆推进装置的方案又被重新提出。在国外,已成功地发展了机主帆副的船舶(或称风帆助航节能船舶)。据统计,由于利用风帆而得到的节能效果约15%左右,每平方米帆面积平均获得的功率约0.3~0.4马力,我国也已开展这方面的研究工作,并准备用之于实船。 本文结合有关任务,对圆弧型风帆的流体动力性能进行了试验研究,探讨风帆的形式及参数等对空气动力性能的影响。文中给出的资料可供设计风帆时计算推力、横向力及编制风帆自动控制程序之用。

This paper presents the results and analyses of open water tests of tandem propellers in a nozzle of accelerating flow type. It indicates the optimum angular spacing range and describes the influences caused by pitch ratio difference between both propellers of T.P. on the optimum parameters of tandem propellers in nozzle (T.P.N.). The comparison is also made between T.P.N. and some other types of propulsive devices.

本文叙述了加速导管中串列螺旋桨敞水试验结果及分析。文中给出最佳位错角范围及螺距比差对导管串列桨最佳参数的影响,并对导管串列桨与其它推进装置的性能进行了比较。本文所给出设计图谱可用于导管串列桨的设计计算,所述及的试验及分析填补了这方面的一个空白。

Fundamental principle and theoretical calculation method for a combined propulsor consisting of a conventional propeller and fixed guide vanes placed behind propeller are discussed. To study the behaviour of the guide vanes, extensive model self-propulsion tests and full scale experiments were carried out. The theoretical and experimental results show that this propulsive device has a significant effect for increasing efficency and saving energy.

文中讨论了固定叶轮和螺旋桨组合推进装置的基本原理和理论设计计算方法,并与模型试验以及实船试验结果作了比较,结果证明该装置对提高推进效率、节省能源具有显著效果。
