The results indicated that the friction coefficient was kept at low level and the wear resistance at high over a wider range of temperature upon condition that the alloy contained proper amounts of Nb and Se, The authors proposed that the improvement of tribological properties of the alloy was attributed mainly to the important effect of NbSez block structure and NbxSe2(x= 1.00-1.10)bucillar structure in the alloy.

We have measured the electrical resistivities of liquid Bi-Te alloy of 40% ̄70% (at.)of Te in the range between 700 and 850℃, and ones of liquid Bi-Se alloy of 40%  ̄65 % (at.) of Se between 700 and 900t.
