Natural nickel has been discovered in a sodik granite stock in southern Yenshan Range, Hebei, China. The nickel is of isometric system, with a = 3.528 ± 0.007A , space group Fm3m, composition Ni 99.82 wt%, and reflectivity ( % ) . 55.3 ( 480m μ. ) , 62.9 ( 546m μ), 62.1 ( 589m μ), 64.4 ( 640m μ ) . The discovery of the natural nickel implies involvement of the mantle material in the genesis of the granite interested.

Electron microprobe analysis gave average values SnO_2=17.585, Al_2O_3=58.491, FeO=5.021, MGO=5.525, MnO=1.134, ZnO=5.619,TiO_2=6.205, SiO_2=0.191 and CaO=0.161. Ti, probably substituting for Sn, is shown homogeneously distributed in the mineral. The mineral is regarded as a subspecies of nigerite, and is supposed to be formed from postmagmatic hydrothermal fluids rich in Ti, Sn, Zn and Al.

This is verified by its sharp borders with the wall rocks, the halo of contact metamorpism, the same physical properties of the subordinary mineral zircons, and the high tempreture data about inclusions etc.Qianlishan granite shows an evolution trend by the successive changes in chemistry, mineralogy, REE and Pb isotopes, but there are exceptions with the granitic porphyry, the fourth stage in the district. The porphyry is similar to the first stage of Qianlishan stock in rockchemistry, composition of mineral, contents of the ore-forming elements and the texture of the rock. According to what are mentioned above as well as the same time-space distribution of the granite stocks and the granitic porphyry walls, it is inferred that there were two trans-chambers of magma beneath the district, the one was shared by the three stages granite of Qianlishan stock at shallower depth, and the other by Qianlishan stock and the porphyry wall at deeper depth.

本文以大量的野外证据证明千里山钨锡多金属成矿花岗岩为一个三分的复式岩体,纠正了沿用近30年的“主体期—补充期”的划分方案;从岩体产状、矿物包裹体、副矿物锆石特征等方面论证了各期花岗岩具有统一的岩浆成因;并根据千里山各期花岗岩之间,以及它们与第四期侵入的花岗斑岩之间化学成分、矿物成分、稀土元素分布模型、铅同位素组成以及花岗岩区域分布特点,探讨了千里山花岗岩可能的剖面模型,这种模型对该区进一步找矿可能产生积极作用。
