In this paper we briefly describe the principal method by which the rate of variation of the earth's rotation is studied with records of central solar eclipses, and meanwhile we analyze in detail and calculate 215 central solar eclipses records of Chinese annals from the Spring and Autumn Period ( -700 B. C.) to the beginning of the Tang dynasty ( - A. D. 700) extending nearly 1400 years, with further comparisons and investigations. We select 88 from the total 215 central solar eclipses and obtain a secular decceleration in the speed of the earth's rotation, withQ/Q=-(1.88±0.10) ×10-10/yr. We expecta more reliable curve of the historical variation of ΔT may be obtained with more values of AT from ancient records in other aspects (e.g. the magnitudes of eclipses, the times of the eclipses and equinoxes, and occultations of the stars etc.).

本文简要叙述了一种利用古代中心日食记录研究古代地球自转速率变化的基本原理和方法(简称为“中心食法”),并对中国古代部分中心食记录进行了分析计算,得到初步结果。所用资料为中国史书中春秋至唐代初年一千四百余年间的中心食记录,选用了其中的88例用于计算地球自转速率变化的参数ΔT,其结果表明了地球自转的长期减慢,求得相对加速度的均值为-(1.88±0.10)×10~(-10)/年.

Astronomical records of Ming dynasty (1368~1644AD) are important material in studying the traditional astronomy of china because many documents with traditional features survived for that dynasty. Ming Shilu is a series of huge books on the official history of Ming dynasty. Ho Pingyork picked up the meterial related to astronomy from the books and published them as the book Astronomical material in Ming Shilu, which is helpful for studing ancient Chinese astronomy. However Ho's book does not include Chongzhen Shilu for the period of the last emperor of Ming dynasty.As a complement to Ho's book, Chongzhem Shilu and another important official history book for this period, Chongzhen Changbian, are looked through, and the astronomical materials are piked up from them and presented here in the same format as Ho's book.On the other hand, all the records of celestial phenomena, which can be computed with modern method, are checked. The features of the texts and sources are disccussed through comparison and analysis. The source of records of celestial phenomena for the period of Chongzhen is quite different from other periods of Chinese history.

由于留存文献较多而又保持传统特色,明代天文记录是研究中国传统天文学的重要资料。由于《明实录》卷帙浩繁,何丙郁等将其中与天文学有关的记载摘录出来,出版了《明实录中之天文资料》一书。以同样的体例,将该书未包括的《崇祯实录》及《崇祯长编》中的天文资料辑出,以为该书之补充。同时对其中能够计算的天象作了复算,以为注释;对崇祯朝天象记录文献来源的特征作了探讨。
