An inter-harmonic parameter estimation method based on multiple signal classification (MUSIC) and Prony method is proposed. Firstly, the frequency of harmonics and inter-harmonics is estimated by setting threshold in MUSIC power spectrum curve, then the amplitude and phase of harmonics and inter-harmonics is estimated by the estimated frequency and least square method in Prony method. Simulation result and that of measured signal show that using the proposed method the inter-harmonics near the integer harmonics can be detected under low noise level, the estimated integer harmonics and inter-harmonics possess higher accuracy and can meet the need of measuring accuracy of actual power network signals.
