Welding temperature is the most important factor which influences the quality of the welded seam in the process of producing ERW pipe. In this paper the authors simplify the heating process with high-frequence current into one-dimension heat conduction process of the half-infinite body with internal heat source. The analytic solution of the temperature field is obtained by Fourier Transformation in the heating zone.

In this work, when the oxygen content is less than 1.2%, it was found that the coke burning rate was a zero order reaction with respect to the oxygen concentration and a second order reaction with respect to the coke concentration. A WRT-1 type micro-thermobalance was used in the determination and a kinetic equation of the burning rate of coke was induced. The equation is expressed in coke disappearing rate rA=k.CAa. As total deposit on catalyst contains both coke and bitumen, and the burning rate of bitumen is far quicker than coke.we can describe the regeneration process in reactor as a progressive change of zones, i. e. from heating zone to bitumen (high polymer) burning zone, coke burning zone, grey colored zone and zone of original color. This is the basis for the establishment of methematical model. By this model, under given burning time, inlet temperature of reactor and the highest allowable temperature for safe regeneration of catalyst, the corresponding oxygen content as well as quantity of regeneration gas could be calculated and thus the neccessary data for the design of regeneration system could be obtained.The determination of the burning rate of coke by thermoweight analysis provides accurate data neccessary for the establishment of kinetics pf burning coke and mathematical model. The method is simple, rapid and has good reproducibility.
