The developing and utilizing of millimeter frequency band (30-300GHz) both on basic theory and application technigue have made great progess in this decade. Some of measuring instruments and devices as well as key elements in the field of millimeter wave also have been advanced to any great degree.The frequency of instrument and device within the traditional frequency band have almost expanded to 140-170GHz or more. The present situation and development of foreign measuing instrument in millimeter wave band are introduced briefly in this paper.

近10多年,毫米波频段(30~300GHz)的开发利用,无论是基础理论还是应用技术,都取得了重大进展。作为毫米波邻域重要组成部分的测量仪器和设备,以及某些关键元器件,相应地亦取得了重大进展。传统微波段的仪器及元器件的频率,几乎已全部扩展到140~170GHz,并在不断地向更高频率扩展。本文将对国外毫米波测量仪器的现状和发展进行简要介绍。
