    Dongting Lake, the second largest freshwater one in China, covers 37360km~2 with 4.8% of the area being marshland. In the present paper, the resource evolution, integrated exploitation approach and measure of its marshland damp ecosystem are stated. The results indicate that the acreage ,soil fertility, biological resources and human activities have changed remarkably due to the effects of many external factors (especially silt deposition in the lake basin) on the marshland ecosystem. Oil-source correlation shows that oiland gas were mostly from the third section of Shahejieformation, which is in high thermal evaluation level.The second order structure zones with different typeof traps made it favorable to form composite hydro-carbon accumulation zones that comprise multiple ty-pe of oil and gas pool and multiple oil and gas bearinglayers. Resource evolution for the plays in the beacharea shows that Baidong, Qidong and Chenghaistructures are rich in oil and gas. The resource in thesezones comprises about 60% of total oil resource and67% of total gas resource in the sag, which made thesezones to be the most favorable area for further hydro-carbon exploration.

    歧口凹陷为第三纪以来继承发育的大凹陷,四周为凸起所限,自成一个相对独立的构造-沉积单元和油气生成-运移-聚集单元,从而形成一个含油气系统。地球化学资料表明,沙三段和沙一段为区域分布的两套主力生油层,有机质以Ⅱ_1型为主,部分为Ⅰ型。沙三段烃源岩有机质热演化程度较高,油源对比证实沙三段是已发现油气藏的主要油气源。各二级构造带发育多种类型圈闭,有利于形成多含油气层系、多油藏类型相互叠置连片的复式油气聚集带。区带资源评价表明,滩海地区的白东、歧东、埕海等构造带油气资源量较大,油和气分别占凹陷区带总资源量的60%和67%,且勘探程度较低,剩余潜力很大,是今后勘探的有利区带。
