This paper discusses a measuring principle and method for direct heavy current system in electrolysis industry. It is proposed that the measuring method for long D. C. integration quantities are solved by numerical integration method. The measuring problems for direct heavy current system is solved. And model PF-16 instrument for measuring direct heavy current system has been successfully developed in accordance with the principle and method discussed is introduced.

The corrosive rates were tested under conditions of new surface or passive film or MnO2 on SST-861 Ti alloy surface. The results showed that the higher temperature was,the greater the rates would be. Ti alloy could be protected from the corrosion by the steady passive film or MnO2. The corrosion and protected methods were illustrated for the alloy in electrolysis industry.
