Objective To determine the levels of the long chain polyunsaturated fatty acid (LCP) in preterminfants and its influencing factors. Methods The LCP levels of plasma and red blood cell membranes in 28 preterm infants at birth and their mothers were measured by gas chromatography. Methods The LCP levels of plasma and red blood cell membranes in 28 preterm infants at birth and their mothers were measured by gas chromatography. The body weight, body lenghth and the head circumference were also measured. Results (1) The levels of linoleic acid (LA) and linolenic acid were higher, and those of arachidonic acid (AA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) were lower in maternal blood than in cord blood of infants. The levels of LA, linolenic acid, AA and DHA in cord blood of infants positively correlated with those in maternal blood; (2) The level of DHA in cord blood increased with fetal muturation; (3) Significant positive correlations were observed between the levels of AA in maternal and cord blood and birth weights. The level of DHA in cord blood also correlated with the birth weight and the head circumference. Conclusion (1) Maternal nutrition is related to fetal LCP level; (2) Premature is probably one of the factors inducing LCP deficiency; (3) The LCP levels in infants at birth closely correlates with prenatal growth.

收集宁、镇两地医院水囊引产胎儿 65例 ( 16w~ 3 8w) ,按胎龄分为 7组 (Ⅰ~Ⅶ )。取松果体常规固定 ,作组织学切片 ,光镜观察和计算机图像分析。观察松果体组织的形态发育 ,测量松果体细胞的形态特征。结果显示 :从Ⅰ组到Ⅶ组 ,松果体组织的细胞密度逐渐减小 ,松果体细胞的胞体逐渐增大 ,细胞器发育渐趋成熟。籍此探讨松果体生前生长发育的规律 ,并为松果体生后生长发育的研究奠定基础

To determine the relationship between Zinc concentration and prenatal growth,66 newborns were divided into small for gestational age(SGA)group and appropriate for gestationa age(AGA)group according to their birthweight and gestational ages.The serum Zinc concentration,insulin-like growth factor-1(IGF-1)and insulin-like growth factor binding protein-3(IGFBP-3)levels in cord blood of newborms were measured by atomic absorption spectroscopy,radioimmunoassay(RIA)and immunoradioassays(IRMA)respectively.Results showed that the concentration of Zinc and the levels of IGF-1,IGFBP-3 were significantly lower in SGA group than those in AGA group(P<0.01,respectively).This suggests that the fetal growth correlates closely with Zinc concentration.Lacking of Zinc can result in intrauterine growth retardation.Zinc supplement is necessary for mother during pregnancy.
