The topic on atomic mixing and interface reaction is an active subject recently. Progress in the formation of silicide and atomic microalloy induced by ion-beam mixing has been achieved sucessfully. So far there is no complete theory to describe the process of ion-beam mixing and the investigation of the mechanism on ion beam mixing is still largely lacking. In this paper, from both the view of atomic collisions and atomic reactions, two kinds of elementary processes during bombardment of energetic ions on solid have been discussed in detail. One of these processes is ballistic collisions which are initial events and the system reachs non-equilibrium state. Another one is the relaxation process which involves migration and rearrangement of atoms as well as atomic reaction. Finally stable or metastable states are formed. A phenomenal model for describing the atomic processes of interface reaction and mixing have been proposed. The dynamic equations for interface reaction and diffusion are formulated. In order to distinguish the processes of diffusion-limited and reaction-limited a criterion has been proposed and compared with the experimental results.

离子束引起固体原子反应和混合是近年来国际上研究极为活跃的一个课题,利用这种原理在硅化物形成以及原子微合金方面都取得了很多有益结果。但是,对其物理机理的研究还很不夠,还没有一个完整的理论可以描述“离子混合”的过程。本文从固体中原子碰撞、运动、原子反应和合成的观点出发,讨论了快速离子轰击二元素系统所发生的二类基本过程:原子间的弹性碰撞、原子重排、反应以及形成稳定或亚稳态的过程。提出一个描述离子束引起界面相互作用的原子过程的唯象模型,得到了描述界面反应和扩散的动力学方程,提出了别区受反应控制和受扩散控制过程的判据并与实验结果作了比较。

Based on the microstructure, a simple phenomenal model for the plastic response of particle reinforced composites is built. It is relatively simple to predict the elastic modulus, yield stress and stress-strain response of the composites with different volume fraction of particles by the model. The experimental results confirm that the fracture of the reinforcing particles and debounding of the particles and matrix are the two main mechanisms of the composite rupture.

基于细观模型,提出了一种简单的分析颗粒增强金属基复合材料塑性变形响应的唯象模型。运用该模型可以很方便地预测不同颗粒体积含量复合材料的弹性模量、屈服应力、应力-应变塑性响应等。实验模型分析表明,增强颗粒自身破裂和颗粒与基体界面破裂是该类材料破坏的两个主要机制。
