When these ligands were used with [Rh(CH\-3COO)\-2] 2 precursor as catalysts in hydroformylation of the mixed octenes respectively, the catalytic activities and selectivities to isononyl aldehydes (INA) reversed completely in the nucleophilicity order of synthesized ligands as mentioned above. We considered that the formation of more active species in [Rh(CH\-3COO)\-2]...

Three ligands were synthesized, of which the nucleophilicity is ordered as Ph\-2P(CH\-2)\-4PPh\-2>Ph\-2P(O)(CH\-2)\-4PPh\-2>Ph\-2P(O)(CH\-2)\-4P(O)Ph\-2. The results in recycle of Rh\|Ph\-2P\{(O)\|\}(CH\-2)\-4P(O)Ph\-2 catalyst indicated that the activities for hydroformylation decreased gradually with the increase of recycling time.
