Changes in enthalpy, entropy and internal energy in the process of thiophene adsorption on sulfided NiW/ γ Al 2O 3 catalysts were determined by means of pulse chemisorption technique. The hydrogen species on the surface of the catalyst, which desorb at higher temperature, are suggested to be correlated with HDS reaction.

From our studies, It was found that the pH value of the solution, impregnation time and different competitive adsorbates had significant effects on distribution of Pt in catalysts. The results also showed that the dispersion of Pt will be changed with changing the pH value....

From our studies, It was found that the pH value of the solution, impregnation time and different competitive adsorbates had significant effects on distribution of Pt in catalysts. The results also showed that the dispersion of Pt will be changed with changing the pH value. A little higher dispersion of the Pt was got when H 2PtCl 6 was substitued by colloidal Pt.
