This paper analyses the advantages and disadvantages of generating electricity by means of solar thermal energy and ocean thermal energy respectively. On the basis of both the theory and measured data the article points out that there is Cold-Water-Mass in the bottom layer of Yellow Sea all the year round. The temperature of the Cold-Water-Mass in the summer, however, is kept about 6~8℃. On the other hand, the area of Yellow Sea and its coast is solar energy considerably bountiful. The article suggests that we use the low-moderate temperature (100~300℃) solar thermal energy collected by the solar collector as heat source, the Cold-Water-Mass as heat sink, and the low boiling point fluid R-114 as the working substance, thus construct a thermodynamic cycle and a power plant combining the solar thermal energy and the ocean thermal energy around this area. Consequently, it will overcome the disadvantages of the power plants utilizing the solar thermal energy or the ocean thermal energy only. Therefore, the utilization of these two energy sources will be improved both in technology and in economy. Two proposed power plant designs are discussed and the results of thermodynamic calculation are clearly tabulated to explain the conclusion.

本文在分析近代太阳热发电和海水温差热发电的优缺点后,用实测资料和理论两方面说明我国山东半岛南北的黄海海域常年存在低温的深层冷水团,夏季冷水团的温度约6~8℃,而且核心区历年稳定。在黄海冷水团的海面及其近海、近陆又是太阳能照射条件好的地区。因此建议用技术经济上较易实现的集热温度为100~300℃(本文称之为低中温low-moderato temperature)的太阳能集热器所收集的太阳热作热源,再以这些水域的深层冷水团作为冷源,采用恰当的低沸点流体(本文采用R-114)为工质,组成热力循环,联合用太阳热和深水温差热发电,就有可能克服原有的纯太阳热或纯温差热发电的缺点和困难。文中论述了这种联合电厂的优缺点,并以热力计算结果给以论证,了解它在技术、经济上的可行性和优越性。如此将地区能源作综合利用,使不同能源能扬长避短,联合发电和供热,则各能源可获得最有利的利用。
