It is important to grasp the contains of Huntington' s views and not go to the extreme of despotism, so the author analyses Huntington's Views on authority from the following aspects: the legality and effectiveness of authority; Centralization and decentralization; the democratization of authority. 通过强化政府权威来保障现代化的顺利推进,这是亨廷顿为发展中国家提供的治国方略,颇受推崇.本文认为亨廷顿的观点具有一定合理性,但要全面把握其内涵,才能正确借鉴,不能走极端,否则将滑向专制极权的深渊、为此,本文从权威的合法性与有效性、集权与分权、权威的民主化三个方面对亨廷顿观作了较为详细的剖析.
