This article describes the observation of typical fracture occurring in 55 Si MnMo steel small drill rods by an electron scanning microscope and an energy dispersive spectrometer. There are numerous fine oxide inclusions found to be Al-Mg-spinels. These oxide inclusions give rise to the formation and propagation of fatigue cracks and they play an important role in affecting the life of 55 Si MnMo steel small drill rods. It has been observed under an optical microscope that upper bainite is composed of alternatively...

This article describes the observation of typical fracture occurring in 55 Si MnMo steel small drill rods by an electron scanning microscope and an energy dispersive spectrometer. There are numerous fine oxide inclusions found to be Al-Mg-spinels. These oxide inclusions give rise to the formation and propagation of fatigue cracks and they play an important role in affecting the life of 55 Si MnMo steel small drill rods. It has been observed under an optical microscope that upper bainite is composed of alternatively ferrite and austenite platelets and that austenite can odstruct the propagation of fatigue cracks, thus it increases the toughness of the steel.

Application of magnesia-alumina spinel carbon brick substituting for unburnt alumina-magnesia brick in steel ladle is described in the prsent peper. The result shows that magnesia-alumian spinel carbon bricks has excellent redsistance to slag corrosion, to thermal shock and to structural Spelling. The service life of steel ladle made an increase by a big margin. to the brick's microstructure and a tentative inquiry into wear mechanism of maganesi-alumina spinel carbon brick have alsoben done.

铝镁尖晶石炭砖取代铝镁不烧砖在首钢第三炼钢厂90t盛钢桶上应用时效果良好.其侵蚀速率低,工作面反应层与变质层很薄,有较好的抗热震性能,尤其对抵抗碱性熔渣的侵蚀和渗透明显优于铝镁不烧砖。试验结果表明铝镁尖晶石炭砖的使用寿命比原用铝镁不烧砖提高一倍以上。

Great effeorts have been made on improving steel ladle lining refractories recent years since many mills imchina introduced continuous casting and secondary steelmaking technologies that had resulted dramat、drops of the linging life. This paper describes the progresses in developing high performance Al_2O_3-Mg-C bricks、MsO-CaO-C bricks and Al_2O_3-MgO castables for the ladle linings.

近年来我国许多钢厂由于采用连铸和炉外精炼技术,钢包内衬寿命急剧下降,钢厂和耐火材料部门十分重视改进钢包耐火材料。本文叙述最近在开发铝镁碳砖、镁钙碳砖和铝镁尖晶石浇注料等高性能钢包内衬耐火材料所作的努力和取得的结果。
