This discovery is of archaeological importance, and of great value to the study of China's navigation history and the development of her ship-building in ancient times.Based on this discovery, the paper describes the characteristic form and struc ture of the Quanzhou ship. It's low block coefficient and midship section coefficient combined with its fine lines tend to overcome the disadvantage in speed resulted from the length-breadth ratio being too small. It's gentle ribband lines make it easier to bend the outside plank, and V-shaped section lines help to improve its seakeeping quality.The position and the form in joining the keel are well arranged. It is remarkable that its bottom is of double plating, it's side shell of triple plating, and lap joints are used alternatively with butt joints. This discovery provides a substantial proof to the description of Marco Polo, the famous Italian traveller, and to the investigation made by a Japanese scholar Kuwabara. The design that the ship is divided into 13 watertight compartments is in accord with Marco Polo's record. The advanced technology in shipbuilding and the development of rudder are also touched in this paper.Based on the statistic data of China's Shipbuilding in the past generations combined with the remaining demensions of the very archaic vessels, the paper draws an inference from the study of its stability, strength, cargo capacity and fresh.water capacity, and proposes in conclusion that the demension to be restored should be as follows:length of the ship 30m.breadth 10.5m.molded depth 5.0m.block coefficient 0.43.draft 3.5-3.75m.displacement weight 399-454 ton.

1974年夏,在福建省泉州湾的后渚港发掘出土了一艘宋代木造航海货船。这一重大考古发现,对研究泉州湾的海外交通史和我国造船发展史,都具有一定的价值。 本文结合这一发现,阐述了泉州古船的船型和结构特点。指出该船采用较小的方形系数和中剖面系数以及瘦削的型线,既可以克服长宽比过小对快速性带来的不利,同时平缓的斜剖线可使弯曲外板的加工工艺得到改善。V形的横剖线则有利于改善船的耐波性。 泉州古船龙骨连接部位的选择和连接形式的设计均较为合理。底部为二重板,舷侧为三重板,而且是搭接与平接结合使用。这一重要发现,为意大利杰出旅行家Marco Polo的记叙和日本学者桑原骘藏的考证提供了极充分的实物证据。特别是用十二道水密舱壁板将全船分隔为十三个舱的设计,与Marco Polo对中国船舶的赞誉是惊人的一致。文中对造船工艺的先进性和航的发展演变等问题,也进行了分析。 本文还根据我国历代船舶的统计资料,结合古船的残存尺度,从稳性、强度、货舱容积和淡水舱容积等各个角度,推论本船应有的尺度。作者对复原的建议是:船长30米,宽10.5米,型深5.0米,方形系数0.43,吃水3.5~3.75米,排水量399~454吨。

The regulations in the Convention on Marine Pollution adopted by IMCO in 1973 and in the Protocal on Marine Pollution adopted by IMCO in 1978 had made considerable alterations in the principal dimensions and the type of construction of cargo oil holds and ballast tanks of tankers. The formulas which were used to estimate the weights and capacities for tankers before could no longer be adopted since then. In this paper the empirical formulas for estimating the weights of steel hull, outfit, pipe system and the engine and capacities of cargo oil holds and the balast tanks are proposed for 30,000 to 100,000-ton (dwt) tankers by analyzing statistically the existing ones which were designed according to the regula tions of the Convention and Protocal above mentioned and taking account of th especial requirements which should be considered in our country. These formulas are applied to a 50,000-ton (dwt) crude oil tanker, as an example, to show that they are adaptable to estimate the weights and capacities in the initial stage of the design for tankers specified.

本文对DW=3~10万吨原油船船型尺度特征做了扼要介绍。鉴于1973年国 际海协(IMCO)**防止船舶造成污染公约及其1978年议定书引起油船的主尺度、 重量与容量及货油区域结构形式的变化,作者在搜集国内外油船资料的基础上,考虑 了我国油船船令和船员数与国外的差异,建立了估算油船空船重量与容量统计公式。 给出了与此相关的统计数据和曲线。并按文中的统计公式对五万吨级原油船的重量与 容量做了计算。其结果表明接近国外水乎.又符合我国实情。 这些统计公式、数据和曲线可供船舶设计者进行原油船方案设计用.可作为油船 初步设计计算机系统中确定主尺度的有关数学模型.

The present paper briefly analyses different factors affecting the stability of container ships based on the type and loading characteristics of such ships, and also introduces the supplementary requirements for container ships covered by the Rules of LR, SBG, PC(1978) and the Rules for Stability of Sea-going Ships (1981) of ZC. We have made an investigation to the operation conditions of existing container ships, and carried out comparison calculations to eleven ships according to the stability requirements...

The present paper briefly analyses different factors affecting the stability of container ships based on the type and loading characteristics of such ships, and also introduces the supplementary requirements for container ships covered by the Rules of LR, SBG, PC(1978) and the Rules for Stability of Sea-going Ships (1981) of ZC. We have made an investigation to the operation conditions of existing container ships, and carried out comparison calculations to eleven ships according to the stability requirements of various Rules. Finally, we submit some comments on the stability criteria of container ships.

本文根据集装箱船的船型和装载特点,简要地分析了影响集装箱船稳性的各种因素,并介绍了英国LR,联邦德国SBG、苏联1978年规范及中国海船稳性规范对集装箱船的补充要求。我们对现有集装箱船的营运情况作了调查,并对11艘船作了各国稳性要求的计算比较,最后提出对集装箱船稳性衡准的几点看法。
