In order to narrow the gap and make greater useof 3D seismic method, we put forwaard following conceptions on hew to improve further 3D seismic technolgy inthecoal mining area:1. spread the technology of volume interpretation;
The application of production seismic technique to the Songfangtun Oil Field and the Mofantun Oil Field is focused in this paper. According to the geologic characteristics of this area, some production seismic methods are studied, such as the fine identification method of small fault using production seismic, method of outlining the area rich in oil, reservoir lateral prediction method based on the oil reservoir types and reservoir geologic characteristics, and the reservoir geologic modelling method based on the production seismic data.
Seismic exploration with 3D seismic as the main technology has made it a relatively high-resolution technology after many years development. However, the development of oil and gas reservoirs, especially, the kind of fault block reservoir of non-marine facies, which is a worldwide problem, has provide a tremendous challenge for geophysical technology, meaning that the development of comprehensive reservoir geophysics containing petro-physics, special seismic method, special seismic data processing method are needed.
This paper reviewed the researches and applications of seismic techniques in mining exploration in detail,including the fundamental researches composed of acoustic properties and scattering characteristics,regional reconnaissance studies,2-D and 3-D surface seismic imaging and down-hole seismic ima- ging,and pointed out the main seismic method used in mining exploration is reflected wave methods at present.
The shear wave velocities were determined, using the cross-hole seismic technique, at three sites selected to be representative of the different rock types present at the site.
The objective of the "Time coded impulse seismic technique" project is to examine whether a new low energy acoustic source can be used for seismic purposes.
What are the anomalous seismic reflection bodies at depths of over 6000 m? Are they reefs or igneous rock? This is a difficult problem for seismic techniques, but the GMES technique can handle it.
Taking the GTZ area as an example, we discuss the genetic characteristics of the channel sand-bodies and point out the real difficulty in using seismic techniques to predict the channel sand-bodies.
Testing result by the shallow refractive seismic method in tailings reveals that the energy excited by hammering iron sheet-pole is strong enough and safe, and that the character of anti-jamming by the detectors with long tailcone is better.
An analysis of a passive seismic method for subsurface imaging is presented in which ambient seismic noise is employed as the source of illumination of subsurface scatterers.
Interborehole refraction waves are common in interborehole wave field. They come from the refractors above and below source-receiver geometry. The application of interborehole refraction wave is an indispensable part of interborehole seismolo gy. The literature relating to interborehole refraction wave application has not been seen yet up to now. The tomography of interborehole refraction wave is discussed here,and the theoretical modeling done. The experimental results say that tomogra phy of interborehole...
Dseismic technologies have progressed to the point that new reservoirproduction and engineering applications are being discovered yearly.In particular,4-D,ortime-lapse,seismic monitoring offers the possibility that computer control of field develop-ment may someday be the industry norm. We see a future in which continual refinementsto the 4-D seismic solution are strongly coupled to forward and inverse models of differentattributes(reservoir ,elastic,and acoustic),all of which are used to understand changes...
High resolution seismic technology can be widely used in engineering geophysical prospecting. The location and size of gob area can be prospected by using high resolution seismic prospecting, and the reliable data which evaluates the stability of the ground work of the construction can be provided. This paper also discusses the acquisition, processing and interpretation of data from high resolution seismic technology in both theory analysis and field experiment, and introduces briefly the practical e...
