An experiment was conducted on fishing with three-layered drift net made of the light green or blue(like seawater color) thin polyamide fibre. The result showed: the catch of the colour drift net raised 22. 94 %, compared with that of the white drift net.
The results showed that the breaking strength and elongation at break of polyamide raschel netting both have a highly prominent linear relationship to the total bar yarn number,netting density and circle forming yarn number.

The Brill transition of even-even polyamide 618 was investigated using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), temperature-dependent wide angle X-ray diffraction (WAXD) and Fourier transform infrared (FTIR).
The X-ray diffraction results indicate that the melt-crystallized sample of polyamide 618 transforms from the triclinic unit cell to the pseudo-hexagonal phase in the range of 120-180°C.
In this paper we analyse and compare the technical parameters of several decades of typical purse seines in the coastal waters of China. The ratios of length to height range from 4:.l to 5.31 for Power vessels and from 1.4 to 3.04 for motor sailors. The ratios of total buoyancy to total sinker range from 1.4 to 1.9 for polyamide fiber nets. The nets of small fishing yessels are generally bigger.

But after beingtreated by addlng anti-ageing agent, the maintenance rate of the break~intensity of thepolyethylene monofilament reached 95 % .
