On the failure types that often appear in the operation of electric equipment windings, this paper briefly introduces and analyzes on the principles and actual operation requirements of the key control indexes in the paint dippi ng process, starting from some aspects need attention in windings' insulation pa int dipping process.
Analyzes ordinary failure types in exchangers and presents their fault treating rule. Summarizes six kinds of methods to find out failures based on author′s practical experience for many years and analyzes these methods combined with instances in HARRIS 20-20 exchanger.

The experimental results show that the fractal dimensions which are obtained after EMD is used to reduce the noise of the rotor vibration signals are different under different fault conditions and can be used to identify the work state and fault pattern for the rotor system efficiently.
By using the character of wavelet packet multiresolution,fault signal is decomposed at multi-scale,orthogonalation and normalization,extract feature vector according to principal component analysis theory,which as training input of neural network,design classifier of fault pattern.
The simulation results have shown that the proposed method can recognize fault types correctly and is suitable to the non- linear divisible case appeared possibly in fault pattern space, and to any kind of the transmission line system model structure as well, and therefore its generality and practicability can be ensured.
Neural network analysis of overturning response under near-fault type excitation
This fault type matches with the activity of Zhangjiakou-Bohai seismic belt (Zhang-Bo belt) and also shows the action of Zhang-Bo belt as a boundary of two secondary active blocks that truncates the NNE fault.
The results show that the proposed scheme responds very well to any fault insensitive to fault type, fault resistance, fault inception angle and system configuration.
Test results indicate that the algorithm accurately estimates the fault distance regardless of fault impedance, fault type, and fault section.
Thus uncertainty as to the fault type can complicate the problem of determining maximum magnitude.
