This version summarizes the report of the workshop held Janu-ary 7-9, 1987 in San Diego, California with the help of the spon-sorship of National Science Foundation, and Dr. H. Moraff. The participants invited included 30 internationally known active resear-chers in the fields of robotios and computer science.

This paper deals with the collision avoidance problem of a multi-robot system sharing tasks within a common working space. General mathematical description of the problem are given in the form of collective relationship equations. Based on these equations, logical control algorithm for the automatic collision avoidance in Cartesian coordinate system is proposed. Results of simulation studies on real situation show the validity of the algorithm.

Under most circumstances, however, the availability of skilled techni-cians represents a controlling element that definitely slows down the introduction of robots. The effectiveness of training technicians therefore represents a variable of strategic importance.

本文讨论机器人采用对一家电器公司所产生的某些动态影响。对关健的两方面问题进行了分析。首先,考查了现金流的各种作用,结论是在某些情况下,现金流可能是一个控制因素,使得机器人采用速率比单纯考虑经济利益的理想速率要慢。其次,探讨了训练有素的技术人员数量问题。随着更多机器人的装设,通过职业培训而使熟练技术人员增多了。然而,在大多数情况下,训练有素的技术人员数量是减缓机器人采用速度的限制因素。因此,培养技术人员是件具有重要战略意义的事。
