This article discusses the index system by which the energy savings andtechnical economy benefits of the cogeneration system are evaluated. The method of solving questions of multiple goal prog-raming which represents the synthetical benefit of cogeneration is furtherexplored and the formula of optimum cogeneration coefficient is advanced.The article also studies the method of calculating the optimum cogenerationcoefficient suitable to the system which adopts back pressure hearing turbinand discusses how to determine the optimum value of the cogenerationcoef-fi cient of the system constituted by the 200 MW heating turbin. Themethods and conclusions obtained in the article are of significance foroptimization of the cogeneration system.

After a brief review of contents,developments and current status in the Human Engineering, this paper discusses about the reliability of the Man-Machine Systems, Particularly focusing on the reliability of human operations.The HERALD (Human Error And Reliability Analysis Logic Development ) and SC (System Capability) approaches are disussed,with some useful results for Personnels in the field of quality control and reliability design.

Theoretical and experimental study of the system of a symmetric four-way valve and an asymmetric cylinder remains a problem in the theory of modern hydraulic servo system.The incompatibility of the symmetric four-way valve with asymmetric cylinder is discussed and a solution to this incompatibility making use of the "circuitry-area compensation method" is proposed to give a dynamic equation for application to digital simulation of the four-way valve and the asymmetric cylinder.
