DATA SOURCES: A computer-based online search of Medline, EBSCO, ScienceDirect Onsite and google scholar based search was undertaken to identify the articles on cells and tissues cryopreservation published in English from February 1980 to May 2006 with the key words of "tissue engineering, engineered tissue, cryopreservation, vitrification, ice-free cryopreservation, vitreous cryopreservation".
The results showed that,the cleavage rate of swimming-up cold preservation semen78.6% was higher significantly than that of cryopreservation or cold preservation semen by percoll-density-gradient-centrifugation method 60.2% and 62.3%(P<0.05),and cryopreservation semen by the same method 21.1%(P<0.01);
Owing to the mature of vascular anastomosis technique, the successful short-term hypothermic preservation of donor organ and successfully application of immunosuppressive agents, clinical renal transplantation has become to be a most effective and the most standard treatment of end stage of renal disease in the world.
Hypothermic preservation, an important means to keep the biological activities of hepatocytes, can be mainly divided into two kinds: one is short storage at about 4℃;
The current magnitude of Ik during cold storage was 5. 04±0.82 nA (n=18), which was higher than the current magnitude of 2. 85±1. 21 nA in control (P<0. 01).
Integrating the functions of sample preparation and viability detection, the concept of biochip technology was introduced to the field of cryopreservation, aiming at quickly finding an optimum freezing and thawing program.
The study demonstrated that a biochip with integrated automatic loading and inspection units opens the possibility of a massive optimization of the complex cryopreservation program in a quicker and more economical way.
Kidneys were removed ten minutes after treating the donor with 1 mg of 8-methoxypsoralen per 1 kg b.w., during hypothermic preservation UVA-irradiated (intensity: 1.34 mJ/s) for 4 h and thereafter transplanted into ASDI dogs (n=10).
At 4°C the tissue content of energy-rich phosphates reaches zero level which remains constant for 4 h whereas other hypothermic preservation methods lead to considerable changes in the adenylic acid system.
(1) Sodium salt of reduced codehydrogenase I has been obtained in good yield as a dry powder from codehydrogenase I by reduction with alcohol and alcohol dehydrogenase. This preparation was stable for at least 5 months when kept dry at -15℃. (2) The properties of the particle-bound codehydrogenase I cytochrome reductase system in heart muscle preparation were found to differ considerably from those of the soluble enzyme as obtained by Mahler et al. Among other things, the affinity for cytochrome c of the pa...
The induction of plantlets from anther culture of strawberry (Fragaria orientalis A. Los. 2n = 4x =28) is discribed. Plantlets were differentiated from callus on the agar-solidified 1/2 A medium, supplemented with 0.1 ppm GA, 0.5 ppm BA, and 4 PPm triacontanol. Chromosome counts of the root tips indicated that these plantlets are all hapliods ( n = 2 x =14, or so-called polyhaploids ) . After transplanting into Pots, they grew well for more than 5 months.
