In the SDD-treated group, Enterobacteriaceae and yeasts were eradicated from the gut, while the mucosal flora consisting of mainly anerobes, was well preserved, within 3 days, and the incidence of bacterial translocation to the mesenteric lymph nodes (ML.N) and visceriae was significantly...

The present investigation was performed to study the effect of selective decontamination of the digestive tract (SDD) on bacterial translocation from the intestine in rats after thermal injury (40% full-thickness scald injury). In the SDD-treated group, Enterobacteriaceae and yeasts were eradicated from the gut, while the mucosal flora consisting of mainly anerobes, was well preserved, within 3 days, and the incidence of bacterial translocation to the mesenteric lymph nodes (ML.N) and visceriae was significantly lower on postburn day 1, 3 and 5 (P<0.05- 0.01). The five-day survival rate of the group treated with SDD was remarkedly higher than that of the control group (x2 = 4.57, P<0.05). These data indicated that selective decontamination was highly effective in preventing bacterial translocation from the gut, and it might be helpful in abating gut origin septic state following severe burn injury.

本实验采用人鼠40%Ⅲ°烫伤模型,动态观察了选择性肠道清洁疗法(SDD)对肠道细菌易位的影响。结果证实,治疗组动物肠粘膜菌群中G肠杆菌及酵母菌完全被抑制,烫伤后1、3、5d细菌易位率都显著下降(P<0.05~0.01),且动物预后明显改善。伤后5d存活率显著高于对照组(P<0.05)。该研究结果提示,预防性应用SDD对于重症烧伤后肠道细菌易位具行一定的防护作用,从而可能有助于阻止肠源性感染的发生与发展过程。

Using NBT test ,the relationship between the percentage change of activated neutrophils with the survival time of animals after severe burns was observed.The results showed that the NBT positive rate of neutrophils increased markedly after burn, and the NBT positive rate at 5 h postburn was negatively related to the survival time of burned animals. Continuous monitoring of neutrophil indicated that if the NBT positive rate after burn remained in the normal range ,or increased initially to high level and then...

Continuous monitoring of neutrophil indicated that if the NBT positive rate after burn remained in the normal range ,or increased initially to high level and then decreased to lower than normal ,the survival time was longer. However ,if the NBT positive rate increased continuously after burn, the survival time was shorter.Therefore , continuous assay of neutrophil activation with NBT is an important index for the prognosis of severe burns. Lowering of NBT positive rate was observed in rats treated with polygonum cuspidatum ,and these rats lived much longer than those without the treatment .

用硝基蓝四氮唑(NBT)试验观察大鼠重症烧伤后血内中性粒细胞(PMNs)激活情况与动物存活时间的关系。结果表明,烧伤后总的PMNs激活率比对照组明显增高,伤后5h激活程度与动物存活时间呈显著负相关。连续测定显示,烧伤后PMNs激活率无明显增高,或先升高后降至正常水平者存活时间长,预后较好。而NBT阳性率持续不断增高者,存活时间明显缩短,预后不良。提示NBT连续测定对判定重症烧伤预后有重要意义。此外,虎杖治疗重症烧伤后大鼠NBT阳性率降低,其存活时间比未治疗组明显延长。
