This paper describes the performance of spark-ignition engine fuelled by liquified petroleum gas (LPG). Engine tests show that without any modifications the peak output of the engine using LPG fuel is nearly as high as the rated output of the normal engine and the minimum specific fuel consumption is decreased by 3—4%. Some measures for further performance improvement are also proposed.

本文对液化石油气作为汽油机的代用燃料进行了研究。在不改动原机结构参数的情况下,燃用液化石油气时发动机的最大功率基本接近原机功率,最低油耗率比原机约减少3~4%,并对进一步改善液化气发动机的性能进行了分析。

By the experiment of combustion of LPG in a fluidized bed furnace, the effects of operating parameters and particle properties on the temperature level and distribution are studied. The temperature regulation of a fluidized bed furnace is performed by changing air factor a or fIuidization number N or by changing both of them simultaneously. The affecting ranges of a and N are determined. These would-be useful for design prediction and automatic control.

本文通过液化石油气在流化床内的燃烧实验,分析了各操作参数和固体粒子的特性对流化床的温度水平和温度分布的影响规律;找出了利用改变空气系数α和流化数N对流化床的温度进行调节的方法,确定了α和N的有效调节范围。为流化床炉的设计、预测和自动控制提供了参考依据。

In order to developing a suitable power unit for the forklift truck with load capacity of 2~3 tons the. original model 492Q, gasoline engine was redesigned into a dual-fuel engine, in which both the gasoline and LPG can be used as a fuel.
