本文从三个方面论证了苏轼画论中的主要思想 :其一 ,从形、神关系上 ,强调以形写神、形神兼备 ,重在传神”;其二 ,从绘画艺术风格上 ,主张“诗画本一律 ,天工与清新”,浑然天成 ,独具个性 ;从创作主体与客体的关系上 ,推崇“画中有诗”,贵在写意。本文最后论述了画家深切体悟生活且充分发掘气质、才情与识见的潜能对各种绘画风格、流派形成的重大影响。

Su Shi devoted himself to the cognition of noumenon of painting, and advanced the "literati painting theory" based on "painting according to objects", "unity of appearance and spirit", and "combination of poetry and painting", so as to establish the position of literati paintings in the history of Chinese painting.

苏轼致力于对绘画本体进行认知 ,从“理”出发 ,提出了“随物赋形”、形神统一及诗画结合的文人画论 ,确立了文人画在中国绘画史上的地位。其画论承前启后 ,丰富了中国画论的宝库
