The Citrus leaf miner (Phyllocnistis citrella Stainton) is one of the major citrus pests in South China and other parts of the world. No detailed description of the morphology of the larval stages of this species has been published, although descriptions on other species in this genus has appeared in literature and Ba-Angood(1977) based on the length of the mine determined that there are 4 instars in this insect . He didn't described th difference of all instars.Through a series of observations, The authors have found that the larval development consists of 3 moults, and the head capsule of the moulting larva can be found in the mine formed by the larvae. There are 4 instars, the first.,second and third instars are actively feeding stages, the fourth instar ceases feeding, and spins and forms cocoons. The length of the mine varies considerably according to the larval stages from 7-169 mm. The head capsule of the first, second, third and fourth instars 0.12, 0,20, 0.34 and 0.32mm , respectively . Except the fourth instar (unfeeding stage) the head capsule of the leaf-mine grows in geometrical progression, when the number of the instar is plotted a-gainst the logarithm of the head measurement of this insect, a straight line is obtained. The observation fits the Dyar's law.In this paper, the morphology of different larval stages is described, illustrated by 15 figures and 2 tables . The relation between the morphology and feeding habit is also discussed.

The ratios of mannuronic acid (M) to guluronic acid (G) of sodium alginatesextracted from 9 species of brown seaweeds, Sargassums and Laminariea, collectedalong the coast of China, were determined. Among them, Sargassum siliquastrum andS. henslowianum have higher content of G and lower M/G ratios of about 1, and La-minaria has higher content of M and higher M/G ratio of 2. The M/G ratios are lowered from 1.13 in the original alginate to 0.16 in thefractionation product after oxalic acid hydrolysis for S. siliquastrum,...

The M/G ratios are lowered from 1.13 in the original alginate to 0.16 in thefractionation product after oxalic acid hydrolysis for S. siliquastrum, from 0.82 to0.14 for S. henslowianum and from 2.01 to 0.09 for Laminaria. But those of thefractionation products by MgCl_2-EtOH precipitation are less lowered. The average molecular weight and degree of polymerization of the sodiumalginates tested are generally decreased after oxalic acid hydrolysis to about 2,000 and10, respectively. The inhibition efficiencies of sodium alginates from differient species of brownseaweeds prior and after oxalic acid hydrolysis on the absorption of ~(85)Sr in the gastro-intestinal duct of rat indicate that the sodium alginate from Sargassum siliquastrumgives the best efficiency, enhancing from 66% prior hydrolysis to 78% after hydro-lysis, followed by that from S. henslowianum, incroasing from 56% to 64% and by that from Laminaria, from 27% to 56%, respectively. The inhibition efficiency of sodium alginate from S. siliquastrum on the absor-ption of a mixture of ~(183)Ba, ~(85)Sr and ~(47)Ca indicates that it is remarkably effective on~(183)Ba, increasing from 14% before hydrolysis to 77% after oxalic acid hyrolysis.

本文报道了,对我国沿海野生马尾藻和人工养殖海带所含褐藻胶的提取、化学降解分级、原始褐藻胶及其分级产物 M/G 比值和粘均分子量的测定结果,并试验了各产物对~(85)Sr在动物肠道内的阻吸效果。测试结果表明,南方产马尾藻的褐藻胶M/G比值低,北方海带的M/G比值高;褐藻酸钠的草酸水解物G含量提高,M/G比值下降显著。而 MgCl_2-EtOH 分级产物的M/G 比值下降较少;水解后的马尾藻褐藻胶的粘均分子量及聚合度都普遍下降;在动物肠道内,草酸水解前后的褐藻胶对~(85)Sr有明显的阻吸效用,其中以裂叶马尾藻褐藻胶的阻吸效果最好。裂叶马尾藻褐藻胶的草酸水解产物对~(1?)Ba 也有显著的阻吸效果。

膝角泉蝇群Pegomya acklandi group已知种有日本的P.acklandi Suwa,1974和我国的重毫泉蝇P.dichaetomyiola Fan,1982,李荣、邓安孝(1983)报道了四川峨眉山该群8新种,即黄前基泉蝇P.flaviprecoxa,钩阳泉蝇P.hamatacrophalla,稀鬃泉蝇P.rarifemoriseta,小齿泉蝇P.dentella,狭肛泉蝇P.angusticerca,叶突泉蝇P.folifera,简叶泉蝇P.simplicifor-ceps,黑转泉蝇P.melactrochanter;本文则描述相继发现的黑前股泉蝇P.nigriprefemora,半环泉蝇P.semiannula,裂叶泉蝇P.rhagolobos,密毛泉蝇P.densipilosa,月茎泉蝇P.meniscoi-des等5新种。
