The result of the analysis of birch bleeding liquid is that it contains 0. 8% glucose and 0.55% frucose, a little of amino acid, about twenty kinds of inorganic elements, e. g. 62.4g/ml Ca and 11.47 g/ml Mg and 0.492 g/ml Zn, and 0. 485g/ml Mn and so on, it also contains xylite (qualitative).
RESULTS: The Betulinic Acid had a good linearity relationship( r=0. 999 5, n=6) between 10. 10~ 161. 60μ g· mL- 1. The average recovery of Betulinic Acid in Spina Date Seed was 97. 95% ( RSD=0. 25% ) .
Compounds were identified by their physical characteristics and spectral data. RESULTS Eight compounds were isolated and identified as Betulinaldehyde(1),β-sitosterol(2),betulinic acid(3),oleanolic acid(4),betulin(5),daucossterol(6),jasminoside(7)and syringin(8),respectively.
By FCM methods, the apoptotic rates of LoVo cells were 11.32%±0.92%, 19.23%±0.78%, 24.51%±5.88%, 42.22%±2.32%, after treatment of 23-hydroxybetulinic acid at concentrations 25, 50, 100, 200 μmol·L-1, which showed obvious concentration-dependent relationship.
Two methods of obtaining 3α-betulinic acid and related compounds from their 3β-epimers were studied: the reaction of bimolecular substitution and the stereoselective reduction of 3-ketoderivatives.
Six chemical constituents (Ⅰ-Ⅵ) were isolated from the roots of Helieteres angustifolia L.. Three of them were shown to be identical with β-sitosterol, betulic acid and oleanolic acid. The other three were found to be new triterpenoids, named methyl helicterate, methyl helicterilate and helicterilic acid with structures elucidated as Ⅰ, Ⅱ and Ⅳ respectively, on the basis of spectroscopic analysis and preparation of derivatives.
An aqueous extract of the twigs of Pyrus communis L.var.sativa (DC) DC.showed in- hibitory effect against S-180.Compounds were isolated from the twigs of P.communis and eight of them were identified as nonacosane (Ⅰ),lupeol (Ⅲ),β-sitosterol (Ⅳ),betulin (Ⅴ), betulinic acid (Ⅵ),daueosterol (Ⅶ),hydroquinone (Ⅷ) and arbutin (Ⅸ) by MS,NMR, IR、UV and some chemical techniques. It was showed that the compounds Ⅲ,Ⅳ,Ⅴ,Ⅵ, Ⅷ and Ⅸ possessed some bacteriostatic activities on Escherichia coli,Salmonella typhi,Shig- ella f...
Two isomeric pentacyclic-triterpenic acids were isolated from the root of Ampelosis brevipedunculata var hancei Rhed for the first time. One acid was identified as oleanolic acid by means of physico-chemical properties and spectral analysis. The other one was acetylatcd and confirmed by X-ray diffraction analysis. This acid was proved to be betulinic acid.
