Characteristics of workrelated injuries in railway workers were: (1) aggregation of cases in sevaral special units and specified types of work;(2)disproportion of death rate to incidence rate1: 2.14); (3) longer distance in average needed to bring the injured to the nearest hospitals. The time median was 44.4 minutes.Authors emphasized 3 urgent measures: (1) reducing the interval from injury to definite care and improving the quality of trauma care;(2) constructing a truly useful injury surveillance system including proper collection, recording, registry, coding and analysis;(3)more efforts to be made to conduct safety education in workers of special units, especially in young workers and excrcise a capable management of them.

The results showed that the epidemic range of M. hominis infection were found to be fairly wide in 15 railway areas...

Altogather 6527 apparently normal adults covering all ages, sexes and occupations were detected for the antibody to Macoplasma hominis with indirect hemagglutination. The results showed that the epidemic range of M. hominis infection were found to be fairly wide in 15 railway areas of 7 administrative bureaus. The positive rate were 0.70~11.64%, and. the average positive rate was 4.93%. A vast amount of data showed the essential features of M. hominis infection in the railway population in China. A scientific basis was provided for laying down an accurate countermove and measures of prophylaxis and treatment of this infection.

1990年4~5月,在全国铁路人群按统一设计方案,整群抽查18个铁路地区5197名饮服职工和广州铁路局1330名不同职业人群人型支原体感染情况的调查。结果表明,该病流行范围相当广泛,有7个路局的15个地区铁路职工中存在不同程度的感染(0.70~11.64%)。平均阳性率为4.93%。大量数据揭示了铁路人群Mh感染的基本特点,为我国制定正确的防治对策和措施提供了科学依据。
