The result of the wind tunnel tests indicate that the wind pressure distribution and wind load shape coefficient of the U shape aqueduct body are affected not only by the depth width ratio of aqueduct body but also by the flowfield state, the variety of the wind load shape coefficient of the aqueduct body due to the depth width ratio of aqueduct body in same flowfield state.
In this paper laboratory experiments have been conducted for studying the scour maximum depth in the case of construction of bridge foundations. The variations of scour depth with the location of the foundation have been investigated and a technique of pier shape coefficient for calculating scour depth has been forwarded.
Then cell loss occurred at a considerably slower rate (r=3%) and the coefficient of variation of cell area kept relatively constant (27 8%,P<0 01),the percentage of hexagonal cells and figure coefficient returned gradually to normal value (P<0 05).
These results are expressed as α-K_C-C_D、C_M、C_L( α is a dimensionlesstrench function ),which has provided most convenience for engineering. The paper also presentssome forecasts concerning the fluid loads on pipelines in open trenches by α.
In this paper, a ncw method determining the normal form coefficients term byterm is contructed,it can be used efficiently in general nonlinear dynamic systems in whichhigh orer of normal form is required.
It is known that the main factors are shear strength τ,and elastic modulus E. which deter-mine whether the semidiscontinucous chip to be formed, the a thers defind chip state parameter g_c(g_c-τ_s/E)to denote the proporty of material to be machined.
The otolith shape was described by seven harmonics from elliptic Fourier descriptors and by five indices of shape (coefficient of form, roundness, circularity, rectangularity, and ellipticity).
We observed diurnal fluctuations of the circumnutation parameters with the phase of the highest trajectory length, the shortest period, and the highest shape coefficient (the most circular form) during the dark period.
These seven factors include (1) length of creek, (2) average slope, (3) effective watershed area, (4) shape coefficient, (5) median size of soil grain, (6) effective cumulative rainfall, and (7) effective rainfall intensity.
The morphometry of the neuronal body displayed significant alterations concerning area, shape coefficient, and contour index that were statistically increased for the CY-infected group.
A modified bootstrapping procedure is described by means of which standard errors and confidence limits may be determined for the Penrose shape coefficient.
