HEDP has now been widely used in electroplating industry as a new complexing-agent to replace cyanides. In this study, the toxicity of HEDP was assessed in animals by means of radionuclide tracing method. The absorption rate of 99mTc-HEDP P. 0. within 24 hours was about 20%. Most of the HEDP absorbed was concentrated in bony tissue, only a small fraction was distributed in other organs.The biological half-time of 99mTc-HEDP was 13.75 hours. Thus 2.86 days were required to excrete 95% of the P. 0. dose of HEDP....

Therefore, a slight accumulation would occur when successive doses were given at intervals of less than 24 hours.The LD60 of HEDP P. 0. was at the level of 2.05g/kg in mice and 1.69g/kg in rats, implying that HEDP is a compound of low toxioity, graded according to our national standard.After prolonged P. O. administration with larger dose of HEDP, the rats developed metabolic disturbance of calcium and phosphate. The histopathologio and roent-genologic findings were similar to that of rachitis, and subsequently, the growth and development of bone and dental matrix were delayed or retarded.In conclusion, the threshold dose of HEDP causing chronic intoxication was equivalent to 160 mg/kg/day, and the safety subthreshold dose 40mg/kgdaily.

If0. 5 kg rice is taken by an averageperson every day, the maximum allow-able residuary content of BHD inrice will be 3. 63 mg/kg; however,in the field survey the actual residualBHD in paddy was 0.5. mg/kg, so itwas regarded as safety content forhuman being, Screening for mutagenicity of BHDconsisted of 7 mutagenic tests withdifferent hereditary detecting end-points. In those tests, only SCEassay was positive. In addition,trans-formed colony of SHE cell was notinduced. The above results were judgedby comprehensive evaluating criteriaproposed by Brusick. Therefore, BHDshould be regarded as a category ofsubstance without hereditary toxicity.BHD showed no teratogenic effects onthe fetus in rats and mice.

作者对新农药2-苯酰肼叉-1,3-二噻茂烷的一般毒性和特殊毒作用进行了大鼠、小鼠和豚鼠的血液、血清、尿、组化酶和组织病理等检测,结果表明亚慢性毒作用的阈剂量为18.15mg/kg,无作用剂量为3.63mg/kg。推演于人类,采用100倍安全系数,根据该农药的实际残留量计算,对人类是安全的,无遗传毒性和致畸作用。

Since the second Song-hua River has been found to be polluted by methyl-mercury compounds in 1972, the authors have been trying to find out the degree of seriousness to the fishermen and to explore the dose-effect relationship. From the beginning of 1978, the authors began to make a toxicological experiment on cats fed on methylmercury polluted river fish. Pathological changes in cerebella were found in these cats following chronic poisoning of methylmercury compounds or chronic Minamata disease.

自1972年发现“二松”水系己被甲基汞污染事实后,从“二松”水系中捕捞的各种江鱼含汞量己有相当危险水平。在人体中己有甲基汞的蓄积,至于微量汞的污染问题报道较少。我室于1978年以汞污染的江鱼对猫进行慢性毒理实验研究,实验证实,猫的小脑己出现慢性“水俣病”——甲基汞中毒的病理改变。
